My Fashion Passion

My biggest passion, something that I feel like I have a connection with, would be fashion. When we first meet people, the first thing we see and notice is how they look, which we then take to develop someone's overall physical appearance, this alone has an effect on how other people preserve you for example if you are not dressed appropriately for an occasion then this might cause others to not take you as serious. In my opinion a human being will become physically and emotionally attracted to a person they think has something nice on, or that looks good in a specific piece of clothing to me this is because when you wear something that is pleasing to look at you start to catch people staring, a lot of the time this is how i meet and interact with new people, some people may find staring offensive or misinterpret it and take it in a negative way but to me when people stare at me after I have put on some of my favorite pieces of clothing I get a rush of happiness mixed with confidence which is exactly why I have a special connection with fashion. I personally have made friends and started becoming more comfortable in public areas where before I used to see myself as an introvert, being outgoing when it comes to fashion helps you connect with people, people love to admire fashion and they are not scared to say it.  Everyone has their own style and their own perspective on what a good outfit looks like, some people dress up to look good others dress up as a form of expressing themselves. This is what makes fashion and clothing so unique. Fashion has a significant influence on society. It is bigger than just personal styles, it affects aspects of our lives. Fashion can shape cultural norms, define social groups, and reflect societal values. It plays a role in self-expression, identity formation, and even social mobility. Fashion trends can also be influenced by celebrities, media, popular culture, impacting the way we dress and present ourselves. Fashion can also be a way of expressing out moods and how we are feeling on that day, fashion is like a language that allows us to communicate our mood to others without saying one word. If your feeling energetic and happy you may be wearing bright and bold colors. Meanwhile, if we are in a more relaxed and lazy mood, we might wear more comfortable and casual clothing. Fashion gives every human being freedom to express ourselves and evolve, it allows us to find other people that might even have the same interest in you or even like the same band or artist. Fashion can also be a form of art. Fashion designers and clothing brands use details and fabrics to put together pieces for society. Runways and fashion shows are live performances that these artists use to display their work for the public eye. We can see the creativity and assorted styles of all the different fashion designers just by seeing their pieces and brands. Fashion is not only art for designers, but also part of our everyday lives therefore everyone has their own skill when they pick out an outfit in the morning. It gives every person an opportunity to express ourselves on how we are emotionally feeling every single day. Whether we are feeling lazy and laid back or outgoing and happy we choose how we will look today and how people will see us. Fashion has also allowed many people to come out of their shells and open up to new looks. If you as a person can open up to a new style, you are developing the skill to open up to other things that aren't fashionable. Another Aspect of Fashion that is incredibly intriguing is the ability it has to be never-changing and ever-changing. Some fashion trends stand the test of time and social media and become iconic. We see people always put them on somehow and it never “dies out”. While others come and go in the blink of an eye because society just forgets about it or it isn't something trendy anymore. It is a constant cycle, fashion has always been running on a cycle since the beginning of time. What was once considered outdated can suddenly become trendy again, this shows us that fashion is always evolving and adapting to the times we live in. This is why we see the fashion in the 70’s or 80’s and it looks so different to what is considered fashion today in 2023. Overall, Fashion is an extremely interesting topic that few people think so in debt about.  Fashion is something that can distinguish generations and human beings all around. It inspires many, like myself, to be confident and wear whatever makes me happy.
